ABOUT CLARE
Clare Hertel launched her public relations firm in 1994 in order to offer her clients a uniquely personalized and results-driven media service. Her clients range from large, well-established companies to start-ups.
Clare and her team work hand-in-hand with each client, helping to shape the brand and its messaging, build strong relationships with major media outlets, and place feature stories with the likes of NPR, CNN, CBS, ABC, The New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, and countless others.
CHC’s clients have included such brands as the National Geographic Society and National Geographic Television, The North Face, Outside magazine, The Trust for Public Lands, IMAX Films, The International Folk Art Alliance/International Folk Art Market Santa Fe, Anne Hillerman, and the major book publishers. She was also on the founding team of Byliner, the acclaimed digital publisher and subscription reading service. She has deep, long-standing relationships with leading reporters, editors, and producers throughout the journalistic community—in both traditional and digital media, and in regional as well as national and international markets. In this rapidly shifting media climate, she works closely with community building and marketing to offer a complete marketing mix for clients.
